Central Control Room
A duty supervisor watching the whole site over CCTV and radio, calling each post at set intervals.
Each site runs a central control room where the duty supervisor monitors the whole property over the CCTV and radio network, dealing with incidents as they arise and taking the appropriate action.
Control room staff telephone each post at set intervals. The routine keeps service quality under review and keeps officers alert. If a post does not answer within the required time, a patrol officer attends the building to investigate.
The control room is also the site’s communications hub: incidents, resident calls for assistance, fire service signals and contractor movements are all logged and dispatched from there, and reported to the client as required.
